Gated Merch Shops (gm shops) are stores in Shop that offer tokengated products to verified holders of specific non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The NFT communities and brands you follow might use gm shops to release exclusive products.
If you own the qualifying NFT for a product that you're interested in, then you can connect your Ethereum wallet to prove that you own the required NFT. Connecting to a supported Ethereum wallet unlocks the ability to purchase a product.
Connect and shop
You can currently only access gm shops if you've followed a link provided by a participating NFT brand. A brand will share the link to their gm shop with their community on social media. If you want to purchase a tokengated product, then you need to connect your Ethereum wallet to prove that you own the qualifying NFT.
- Follow the link to the gm shop.
- From either the gm shop, or on a tokengated product page, tap Connect.
- Choose your wallet provider.
- Follow your wallet provider's instructions to get connected and verified.
After you connect a wallet with qualifying NFTs, you can purchase tokengated products in Shop.
