Redeeming your Shop Cash

You can redeem your Shop Cash at checkout when you place an order through the Shop app, Shop website, or when you complete a Shop Pay checkout on a store's website after being redirected from Shop. When you select Apple Pay within the Shop Pay checkout in the Shop app or on the Shop website, your order is still eligible to redeem Shop Cash. Apple Pay used on a store's own checkout, outside of Shop Pay, isn't eligible.

Shop Cash is displayed as a payment option at checkout whenever it's available for your order. If Shop Cash doesn't appear at checkout, then the store doesn't currently accept it for your order.

After you redeem Shop Cash on an order, it's displayed as a payment method on your order receipt in the Shop app. You can't redeem Shop Cash after you've placed an order. If you redeem Shop Cash at a store that uses a different currency than your Shop Cash balance, then your Shop Cash is converted to the store's currency at the current exchange rate.

Requirements to redeem Shop Cash

To redeem your Shop Cash, your order must meet the following requirements:

• You place the order in the Shop app or on the Shop website, or you complete Shop Pay checkout on the store's website after being redirected from Shop.
• Shop Cash is displayed as an available payment method at checkout. Not every store accepts Shop Cash, so the option displays only when the store accepts it.
• The purchase doesn't include gift cards or digital products.
• The store isn't a wholesale store.

The delivery method that you choose doesn't affect redemption. You can redeem Shop Cash when you choose local pickup at checkout.

Shop Cash redemption conditions for first-time Shop Pay users

The following additional conditions apply if you're using Shop Pay for the first time, purchasing a subscription, or paying in installments:

• If you've never used Shop Pay before, then your first order must total at least $10 in your local currency to redeem Shop Cash. This excludes taxes and shipping charges.
• Shop Cash can be applied to the first installment payment when you place a Shop Pay Installments order. You can't use Shop Cash toward any other Shop Pay Installments payments.
• If you purchase a subscription, then you can redeem Shop Cash only on the initial subscription payment. You can't redeem Shop Cash toward recurring subscription payments after you place your order.

View your redeemed Shop Cash

You can view the Shop Cash that you’ve redeemed in the Shop app. When you view your Shop Cash activity, your earned and redeemed Shop Cash display in order by the date that you earned or redeemed them.
