Redeeming your Shop Cash

You can redeem your Shop Cash at checkout when you place an order through the Shop app or Shop on the web. You can’t redeem your Shop Cash on an online store.

Requirements to redeem Shop Cash

To redeem your Shop Cash, your order must meet the following requirements:

  • You place the order in the Shop app or Shop on the web.
  • The store is located in the United States or Canada, uses USD or CAD as their store currency, and accepts Shop Pay.
  • You select a shipping method, and your order isn't for local pickup.
  • The purchase doesn't include gift cards, subscriptions, or digital products.
  • You must have at least one payment card with a United States or Canadian billing address saved in your Shop Pay account.
  • The store isn't a wholesale store.

Additionally:

  • If you've never used Shop Pay before, then your first order must total at least $10 in USD or CAD, or $1 or more to redeem Shop Cash on your first order. This excludes taxes and shipping charges.
  • Shop Cash can be applied to the first installment payment when you place a Shop Pay Installments order. You can't use Shop Cash towards any other Shop Pay Installments payments.

After you redeem Shop Cash on an order, it displays as a payment method on your order receipt in the Shop app. You can't redeem Shop Cash after you've placed an order.

Viewing redeemed Shop Cash

You can view the Shop Cash that you’ve redeemed in the Shop app. When you view your Shop Cash activity, your earned and redeemed Shop Cash displays in order by the date that you earned or redeemed it.

View your redeemed Shop Cash in the Shop app

  1. From the Shop app in the home tab, tap your Shop Cash balance.
  2. Tap the clock icon to view your Shop Cash activity.

View your redeemed Shop Cash on a web browser

  1. In a web browser, go to https://shop.app/, and then click Sign in.
  2. Follow the prompts to sign in to your Shop account.
  3. Click your Shop Cash balance.
  4. Click > clock Activity > All activity.
