Save products and follow stores

You can use Shop to keep track of your favorite products and stores by adding an unlimited number of items to your favorites or stores to your following list.

Follow a store

You can tap Follow on any store to follow it. The Follow button changes to Following to show that you now follow the store.

To remove a store from your following list, tap Following. The Following button changes to Follow to show that it's no longer a store that you follow.

Saving products

You can tap the heart icon on any product to save it. After saving an item, you can choose to add it to a new or existing collection. If you don't want to add the item to a collection, then swipe down on the collection list to save and exit.

Unsave a product

  1. From the Shop app, tap the heart icon on the product that you want to unsave.
  2. When the collection list displays, do either of the following:
  • To unsave an item from your Saved section and all collections, tap the heart icon.
  • To unsave an item only from certain collections, tap the checkbox next to each collection that you want to remove it from.
  1. On the Unsave item dialog, tap Unsave.

Creating and managing collections

You can organize the items that you save in Shop by creating private or public collections. A private collection is visible only to you and your collaborators, whereas a public collection is visible to anyone on Shop.

If you want to invite others to add products to a collection, then you can invite collaborators.

Create a collection

You can create a new collection when you save a product, or in the Shop app from the Saved section of your Account.

When you create a public collection for the first time, you're also prompted to enter a display name for your Shop profile.

Steps:

  1. From the Shop app, do either of the following:
  • To create a collection when saving a product, tap the heart icon on the product that you want to save. In the Saved dialog, tap Create collection.
  • To create a new collection without first saving a product, tap the Account icon, and then tap Saved > Add collection.
  1. Fill in the Collection name field, and then tap Save.
  2. Turn the Make this collection private option on or off.
  3. Optional: If you're creating a public collection for the first time, then you're prompted to add a display name. Enter your name as you want it to display in Shop, and then tap Done.
  4. Optional: To share a public collection, tap the share icon to generate a shareable view-only link.

Manage your collections

After you create a collection, you can edit the collection name, manage privacy, change the invite link, or delete the collection.

If you reset a collection invite link, then the current link becomes inactive, and anyone with the inactive link can no longer use it to join the collection.

Steps:

  1. From the Shop app, tap your Account icon, and then tap Saved.
  2. Tap the collection that you want to manage.
  3. Tap the Edit icon.
  4. In the Collection options dialog, do any of the following:
    • To change the collection name, tap Edit name. Enter the new collection name, and then tap Done.
    • To change the privacy settings of your collection, turn the Make this collection private option on or off.
    • To reset the invite link for the collection, tap Reset the invite link, and then tap Reset.
    • To delete the collection, tap Delete collection, and then tap Delete.

Collaborating on collections

You can invite other Shop app users to add products to a collection as collaborators. If you're invited to collaborate on a collection, then follow the steps to join a collection as a collaborator.

Invite collaborators to a collection

After a collaborator accepts your invite, they can save products to your collection.

Steps:

  1. From the Shop app, tap your Account icon, and then tap Saved.
  2. Tap the collection that you want to manage.
  3. Tap the + icon, and then tap + Invite collaborators.
  4. Select a messaging app on your device to invite your recipient.

Remove a collaborator

You can remove a collaborator and the items that they added to a collection.

Steps:

  1. From the Shop app, tap your Account icon, and then tap Saved.
  2. Tap the collection that you want to manage.
  3. Tap the collaborators, and then Tap Remove next to the collaborator that you want to remove.
  4. Optional: If you also want to remove items that the collaborator added to the collection, then on the dialog, check Remove items they added.
  5. On the dialog, tap Remove.

Join a collection as a collaborator

When you're invited to join a collection as a collaborator, you can view and add items to the collection.

Steps:

  1. Tap the invite link that you received, and then tap Join collection.
  2. Optional: If you don't already have the Shop app downloaded on your device, then on the collection page, tap Download.
  3. Tap Join collection.

After you join a collection, you can save products to that collection.

Leave a collection

If you no longer want to be a collaborator on a collection, then you can leave that collection. After you leave a collection, you can't rejoin the collection unless you're invited again. You can't leave a collection that you've created.

Steps:

  1. From the Shop app, tap your Account icon, and then tap Saved.
  2. Tap the collection that you want to leave.
  3. Tap the collaborators on the collection.
  4. Next to your display name, tap Leave.
  5. On the Are you sure you want to leave the collection? dialog, tap Leave.

Change your shopping notification preferences

You can turn on shopping notifications to receive the following updates:

  • When a saved product drops in price
  • When a sold-out product is back in stock
  • Activity on collections that you own or collaborate on
  • Updates from stores you follow about their products, collections, or sales
