You can view the status of your orders in the Orders tab of the Shop app. Order statuses communicate the current state of your package.
Before your order ships
The following order status updates are based on information from the store that you purchased from, if the store is within the Shop network:
- Waiting for details: A new order has been detected, but the Shop app is waiting for more information. The order might already have tracking details, but the carrier might not have updated the tracking information yet. Contact the store directly for more information about your order if there are no tracking details.
- Order placed: Your order has been placed, but the store hasn't shipped it yet.
- Shipped: The store has added tracking information to your order, and the package is on its way to the shipping carrier.
- Shipped partially or Partially shipped: The store has added tracking information, and some items have been shipped.
- Ready for pickup: If you placed an order for in-store pickup, then it's ready to be picked up.
- Picked up: Your order status displays as picked up after you pick up your order. The store that you purchased from needs to send pickup notification and confirmation emails to update the order status to 'Ready for pickup' or 'Picked Up'.
After your order ships
The following order statuses are based on information from the shipping carrier:
- In transit: Your package is on its way to the shipping distribution center.
- Out for delivery: Your package is on its way to you.
- Delivered: Your package has been delivered, or you’ve marked the order as delivered in the Shop app. If there aren’t any details in the Shop app of where the carrier left your package, then check the carrier's website.
- Delivered partially: Some items in your order have been delivered. You'll receive another update when the rest of your order is delivered.
- Delayed: The delivery of your package is delayed.
- Action required: An action is required for your shipment to proceed. For example, you might need to pay a customs fee.
- Failure: The delivery carrier has reported a delivery failure. Contact the carrier directly for more details.
Canceled orders and refunds
If the store that you purchased from has a profile in Shop, then order cancellation and refund statuses appear in the app.
- Cancelled: The online store that you purchased from has cancelled your order, and it won't be fulfilled.
- Partially refunded: The online store that you purchased from has partially refunded your order.
- Refunded: The online store that you purchased from has cancelled your order and given you a full refund.
You might notice that the tracking updates display in different time zones. The different time zone displays because it's based on your delivery location at the time of the update.
