You can review products that were purchased through the Shop app after your order is delivered. However, you can't review products that were purchased as preorders, or through Gift Shop.
Product reviews are displayed publicly on the Shop app to provide helpful and honest feedback about products to Shop stores and customers. When you review a product, you can leave a rating from one to five stars, alongside a comment up to 1,000 characters long. When you review a product on Shop, your first name appears on the review. Reviews can't be left anonymously.
Leave a product review
- From the Home tab, tap on the order that you want to review.
- Tap Review item next to the product that you want to review.
- In the Give it a rating section, select a rating from one to five stars.
- In the Why did you choose this rating? field, write your review.
- Tap Submit review.
If you don't want to complete a review, then you can tap x in the top left corner to close the review.
By leaving a product review, you acknowledge that your review is truthful, and follows Shop Product Review Policies. Shop might reject, remove, or redact info from a review that doesn't follow the review policies.
Update a product review
- From the Home tab, tap the order that you want to update.
- Tap Update next to the product that you want to update.
- Do any of the following:
- In the Update your review section, select a rating from one to five stars.
- In the Why did you choose this rating? field, update your review text.
- Tap Update review.
Delete a product review
- From the Home tab, tap the order that contains the review you want to delete.
- Tap Update next to the product that contains the review you want to delete.
- Tap the ... menu in the top right corner, and then tap Delete review.
- On the Delete your review? dialog box, tap Continue to delete your review.
After you delete a product review, the Update button changes back to Review. You can leave a new product review anytime.
Report a product review
If you come across a review on Shop that you feel shouldn't be there according to Shop's policies, then you can report a review.
- Tap the ... menu on the review that you want to report.
- Tap Report this review.
- On the Why are you reporting this review? dialog box, select a reason for reporting from the drop-down list.
- Tap Report.
