Manage your connected accounts

Accounts and apps can be connected to Shop in the following different ways:

You can manage all of these connections in Settings > Connections.

Connect additional email accounts to Shop

After you create a Shop account, you can connect additional Gmail or Outlook email accounts to use as sources to automatically track orders.

Steps:

  1. From the Shop app in the home tab, tap the Account icon.

  2. Tap settings icon Settings.

  3. Tap Connections.

  4. In the Connect a new account section, do any of the following:

  • To connect a Gmail account, tap Gmail.
  • To connect an Outlook account, tap Outlook.
  1. Tap Continue, and then follow the prompts to sign in to your account.

Shop sign-in on Meta

When you sign in to Shop while browsing a Shopify store in a Meta app or surface, such as Instagram or Facebook, you're connecting with Meta. Meta stores a secure token linked to your Shop account, which keeps you signed in to Shop within Meta without needing to verify your identity again each time.

You can turn off Shop sign-in persistence with Meta at any time by disconnecting it from Shop. This will log you out of future sessions within Meta apps.

Disconnect an account or Shop Mini from Shop

You can disconnect a secondary email account, Meta account, or Shop Mini connection from Shop.

Steps:

  1. From the Shop app in the home tab, tap the Account icon.

  2. Tap settings icon Settings.

  3. Tap Connections.

  4. In the Your connected accounts section, do any of the following:

  • To disconnect an email or Meta account, tap the email address or Meta account that you want to remove, and then tap Disconnect account.
  • To revoke access for a Shop Mini, tap the Shop Mini that you want to manage, and then tap Revoke access.
