Manage your connected accounts
Accounts and apps can be connected to Shop in the following different ways:
- You can manually connect Gmail or Outlook accounts to track email orders.
- A Meta connection is created when you sign in to Shop from a Meta app.
- Shop Minis connect when you grant them permission to access your account.

Connect additional email accounts to Shop
After you create a Shop account, you can connect additional Gmail or Outlook email accounts to use as sources to automatically track orders.

Shop sign-in on Meta
When you sign in to Shop from a Shopify store in a Meta app or surface, such as Instagram or Facebook, you're connecting with Meta. Meta stores a secure token linked to your Shop account, which keeps you signed in to Shop within Meta without needing to verify your identity again each time.
You can turn off Shop sign-in persistence with Meta at any time by disconnecting it from Shop. This will log you out of future sessions within Meta apps.
