Using Shop Pay
Shop Pay is a wallet that helps you check out faster on participating stores by automatically filling in your saved email, payment, and shipping details.

Creating a Shop Pay account
You can create a Shop Pay account in either of the following ways:
- You enter your mobile phone number at a store's checkout that offers Shop Pay, which saves your details for faster future checkouts.
- You set up Shop Pay in the Shop app.
Your Shop Pay account is linked to your phone number and email address, so if you save your details when checking out at a store that offers Shop Pay, this creates a Shop Pay account. Because this happens during checkout, it's easy to forget. This is why you might receive a verification code, or have an account that you don't remember setting up. If you don't want a Shop Pay account, then you can opt out of Shop Pay or delete your Shop account.
Information saved to Shop Pay
The following information is saved and securely encrypted for your future purchases:
- Up to 20 shipping addresses
- Credit card details for up to 10 credit cards, including billing addresses
- Mobile phone number
Keeping your information secure
The following precautions protect your saved payment and personal information:
- Your saved cards are encrypted by Shop Pay.
- Your saved payment details are stored by Shop Pay, not by each store you purchase from. Your full card number isn't shared with individual stores.
- Your shipping and billing details are shared with a store only after you place an order.

Managing your Shop Pay information
After you set up Shop Pay, you can manage your credit card and billing information from the Payment methods section in the Shop app. You can manage your shipping addresses from the Addresses settings in the Shop app. Learn more about managing your payment and shipping details.
