Yes! You can use the Gift Shop feature in the Shop app to browse products to send as gifts. To use Gift Shop, you and your gift recipient both need to live in the United States, because shipping is only available to the United States. Only products featured in Gift Shop can be sent as gifts.
Choose a gift with Gift Shop
- From the Search tab, scroll to the Gift easy with Gift Shop section, and then tap the tile to open Gift Shop.
- Do one of the following:
- Choose an occasion that you want to shop for, such as a holiday or birthday. After you choose an occasion, you can filter the products you find by category, and then by price.
- Browse the Featured gift ideas section, and then tap on a collection of curated gift ideas.
- Tap the search icon in the top right corner to search for a gift.
- Tap the product that you want to send as a gift.
- Optional: On the product page, you can toggle the option to let your recipient change parts of the gift, such as the size or color, on or off.
You can exit Gift Shop at any time by tapping x at the bottom of the Shop app.
Note: When you browse products in Shop, if available, you can tap Gift this to send a gift from a product page.
Send a gift to your recipient
- After you choose a gift, tap Gift this.
- Choose a virtual greeting card to send along with your gift.
- Optional: Add a gift note for your recipient.
- In the Recipient name field, add your gift recipient's first and last name.
- Confirm that the The recipient lives in the US checkbox is selected.
- Review the sender name, and then tap Continue.
- Review your gift order, and then tap Create gift link.
- Tap Share gift link, and then do one of the following:
- Send the gift link by SMS, email, or an app from the options that appear on your device.
- Tap Copy to copy the gift link, and then send the link to your recipient.
You'll receive a notification in the Shop app when your recipient accepts the gift and enters their shipping address.
Complete checkout for your gift
After your recipient accepts the gift, you need to complete the following steps to finalize the order:
- To pay for your gift, open the notification in the Shop app or email, and then tap Complete checkout.
- Review the order, and then tap Pay now.
Gift expiration period
You have 14 days from the time of sending the gift for the recipient to accept it, and for you to complete the checkout. After this time, the gift expires and the order isn't completed.
You can't cancel a gift sent through Gift Shop, but if you don't complete payment, it won't be sent, and your card won't be charged.
Gift Shop Favorites collection
If you add a product to your favorites, and it's available in Gift Shop, then you can find the product in the Gift Shop Favorites collection.
